We are a publishing house for curious readers and thoughtful writers. Our books, magazines, and digital titles cover a wide range of subjects, from science and technology to culture, business, and everyday life. Some of what we publish comes from scholars and experts, and much of it comes from voices outside academia: practitioners, storytellers, journalists, and first-time authors with something to say.
What we look for
We believe good writing should be clear, engaging, and useful, whether it sits on a library shelf, a classroom desk, or a bedside table. Non-fiction that explains, explores, and challenges how we see the world. Fiction and creative writing that entertains and inspires. Guides and practical titles that help readers learn, build, and grow. Journals and research publications for specialist and academic audiences. Essays, features, and perspectives on the issues shaping our time.
Our process
Quality first. Every title is carefully edited, fact-checked, and designed with the reader in mind. Open to new voices. We welcome both established names and new writers. Accessible to all. We publish in print and digital formats so readers can find us wherever they are. Built on integrity. We stand for honest, ethical, and responsible publishing. Share Your Work. If you have a manuscript, a proposal, or an idea you believe in, we would like to hear from you.
Call for a special issue
Alongside its regular quarterly issues, each of the press's five journals will publish a special issue. The theme is the journal's own scope: any paper the journal already welcomes is welcome to the special issue. Special-issue papers go through the same screening and peer review as every other submission, and publication remains free of cost.
Open across all five journals
Publish with us
We welcome submissions from writers at every stage, from first-time authors to established voices, and across fiction, non-fiction, practical guides, and specialist or academic work. We care less about credentials than about clarity, originality, and a story or argument worth telling. Your next chapter starts here. Every book begins with someone willing to share an idea. If you have a manuscript you believe in, we would like to read it.

Every paper published by the press is read by peers in its own field, and five quarterly journals need a wide pool of readers to do that properly. If you would be willing to review a paper two or three times a year, tell us where your work sits and we will write when something in your field arrives.
Reviewing is unpaid. The press asks only for a careful reading and a written report, and it lists every reviewer who has served in the issue they helped on.
CALL FOR EDITORS
Five quarterly journals need editors to set each one's scope, choose the right reviewers, and take the first decision on a paper. If you would be willing to sit on a board, or to guest-edit a special issue, tell us where your work sits and we will write when a seat opens.
Board work is unpaid. The press asks only for a steady hand on the papers in your field, and it lists every editor who has served in the issue they worked on.
