Robotics and Industrial Automation

Volume 1, Issue 1 brings together research and practice across robotics, automation, intelligent systems, and industrial technologies. It welcomes original research, technical reviews, case studies, and emerging developments spanning industrial robotics, autonomous systems, mechatronics, control systems, machine vision, sensors and actuators, embedded systems, artificial intelligence for automation, human–robot interaction, and smart manufacturing, together with industrial automation technologies such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems, industrial IoT, digital twins, additive manufacturing, and Industry 4.0/5.0 applications. By connecting academic research with real-world engineering practice, the issue seeks safe, efficient, sustainable, and intelligent automation solutions across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, agriculture, energy, transportation, and service industries, and aims to inspire the next generation of engineers and researchers.

The journal is published quarterly, and the submission window for this issue closes on 26 March 2027.

Publication is free of cost. There is no submission charge and no article processing fee for any journal under NextGen Journals.

We are inviting original research, technical reviews, case studies, and emerging developments that fit the journal's scope above. Papers are peer-reviewed, and accepted work is scheduled into this issue as it clears review.

The journal is led by Editor-in-Chief Prof. Ben Clements, University of Leicester, England, United Kingdom.

Authors can send a manuscript through the press's submission form. You will hear from the editorial desk once your submission has been read.

Authors retain copyright in their work. The press's copyright form grants the press a licence to publish and distribute the paper, and the published paper is released open access under CC BY 4.0, so anyone may read and share it with credit to the author.
