CALL FOR PAPERS
AI Journal — AI, ML, GenAI, AGI
Few fields move as fast as artificial intelligence. Methods that were research prototypes a few years ago now run inside products used by millions, and questions that once belonged to science fiction are now serious topics of technical debate. The AI Journal is a place to publish and read the research behind that progress. The journal covers the full range of the field. Artificial intelligence provides the foundation: reasoning, planning, perception, and the systems that combine them. Machine learning covers the algorithms, theory, and training methods that let systems learn from data. Generative AI covers models that produce text, images, code, and more, along with the questions of quality, safety, and evaluation they raise. Artificial general intelligence covers the longer-term research on systems with broad, flexible capabilities, including how such systems might be built, measured, and governed responsibly. We welcome original research, rigorous reviews, benchmark and evaluation studies, and applied work from academia and industry. In a field with this much hype, we place particular value on careful methods, reproducible results, and honest accounts of what a system can and cannot do. As a publication for advanced intelligence, the journal aims to give researchers a trusted venue for their work and to give readers a clear, grounded view of where the field stands.

The theme is the journal's own scope: any paper the journal already welcomes is welcome to the special issue. Special-issue papers go through the same screening and peer review as every other submission, and publication remains free of cost.
